Journal Article 2024 02 20 The second generation of human rights emerges from a specific theological context and in contrast to the mainstream of economic thought. This means that concepts such as social justice cannot find a place within a system that relies on the free market and the sanctity of private property. This difference in foundations manifests itself in a wide-ranging conflict between advocates of the second generation of human rights (the left) and economic freedoms (liberals). Understanding the fundamental difference between these two spheres of human life, while at the same time understanding the global unity that both influence, requires an approach to their relationship that, while paying attention to their fundamental separation, focuses on the possibilities of each of these spheres, and suggests a way to moderate them in practice. نسل دوم حقوق بشر بر بستر الهیاتی خاصی و در تمایز با جریان اصلی اندیشۀ اقتصادی شکل می‌گیرد؛ به این معنا که مفاهیمی نظیر عدالت اجتماعی نمی‌توانند در منظومه‌ای متکی بر جریان آزاد بازار و تقدس مالکیت خصوصی جایی را به خود اختصاص دهند. این تمایز در بنیادها، خود را به شکل مناقشه‌ای پردامنه میان طرف‌داران نسل دوم حقوق بشر (جریان چپ) و آزادی‌های اقتصادی (لیبرال‌ها) نشان می‌دهد. درک تمایز بنیادین میان این دو حوزۀ حیات بشری از طرفی و درعین‌حال درک وحدت جهانی که این هر دو در آن تأثیرگذارند، نیازمند رویکردی راجع‌به نسبت میان آن دو است که در عین توجه به انفصال بنیادی‌شان در نظر، با تمرکز بر امکانات هریک از این حوزه‌ها، راهی را برای تعدیل آن‌ها در عمل پیش چشم بگذارد. https://humanrights.mofidu.ac.ir/article_716266_b2eba57036737fb13b9bcd571e7348a5.pdf
