The Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism (MRM) has been implemented by UN Security Council Resolution 1612 (2005) lays forth a helpful structure for tracking and reporting breaches committed against children in war zones, such as those in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt).<br>While not officially mandated in this region, humanitarian and human rights organizations have successfully adopted the MRM that has been established to oversee and take corrective actions against instances of infringements upon the rights of children. However, they face limited resources and a challenging operational environment. More awareness and comprehension of the problems children face in the conflict and the process of adapting the MRM to the local context, taking into account the distinctive circumstances of children, has the potential to surmount the challenges and impediments faced in effectively implementing the mechanism.<br>It is vital to ensure that the monitoring and reporting mechanism is efficiently and effectively implemented in all conflict areas worldwide to protect children’s rights and prevent further atrocities against them. Additionally, long-term solutions to end the conflict in the Israeli-Palestinian region are necessary to address the root causes of violence against children and provide them with a safe and secure environment to grow and thrive. خشونت علیه کودکان در مناقشه اسرائیل و فلسطین یک مشکل جدی است که باید مورد توجه قرار گیرد. مکانیسم نظارت و گزارش‌دهی (MRM) که در قطعنامه ۱۶۱۲ شورای امنیت سازمان ملل (مصوب سال ۲۰۰۵) اجرا شده است، چارچوبی مفید برای پیگیری و گزارش نقض‌های صورت‌گرفته علیه کودکان در مناطق جنگی، از جمله اسرائیل و سرزمین‌های فلسطین اشغالی، ارائه می‌دهد.<br>با اینکه این مکانیسم به‌طور رسمی در این منطقه اجرا نشده است، سازمان‌های بشردوستانه و حقوق بشری موفق شده‌اند MRM را به کار گیرند تا بر موارد نقض حقوق کودکان نظارت کرده و اقدامات اصلاحی اتخاذ کنند. با این حال، آنها با محدودیت منابع و محیط عملیاتی دشواری روبه‌رو هستند. افزایش آگاهی و درک بهتر از مشکلاتی که کودکان در این مناقشه تجربه می‌کنند و همچنین روند تطبیق MRM با شرایط محلی، با در نظر گرفتن وضعیت خاص کودکان، می‌تواند به غلبه بر چالش‌ها و موانعی که در مسیر اجرای موثر این مکانیسم وجود دارد، کمک کند.<br>ضروری است که مکانیسم نظارت و گزارش‌دهی به‌طور کارآمد و موثر در تمامی مناطق درگیر در مناقشه در سراسر جهان اجرا شود تا از حقوق کودکان حفاظت و از فجایع بیشتر علیه آنها جلوگیری شود. علاوه بر این، یافتن راه‌حل‌های بلندمدت برای پایان دادن به این مناقشه در منطقه اسرائیل و فلسطین، گامی اساسی در رفع علل اصلی خشونت علیه کودکان و ایجاد محیطی امن و پایدار برای رشد و شکوفایی آنان خواهد بود. https://humanrights.mofidu.ac.ir/article_723619_c3464d77333969eb531f2543f4816f8d.pdf
